Banana and Berry Chia Breakfast smoothie

Smoothies are a quick and easy way to have a healthy breakfast, especially for people who eat breakfast on the go. Packed with protein, calcium, antioxidants and good fats, this smoothie is a nutritious way to start the day. Chia seeds are the best plant based source of beneficial omega-3 fats, which are important for healthy brain and nervous system function as well as a healthy heart.

½ cup organic soy milk
1 ripe frozen banana
Big handful of mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
1 Tbs chia seeds
2 Tbs low-fat biodynamic yoghurt
½ cup iced water
Drizzle of raw organic honey

Blend all ingredients together until a smooth consistency, then serve.

Serves 1.
